⨠Effect & Benefits:
The hip body band is particularly suitable for horses recovering from a pelvic injury or for those whose hindquarters should be activated more consciously.
It gently supports movement in this area and helps improve balance and coordination.
đ Application:
- First, place a band around the horseâs chest and guide it over the withers â similar to the first part of a double-loop body band.
- Tie a second band to one end and place it around a hind leg from the outside.
- Lead this band forward again along the inside of the leg, similar to the leg straps of a horse blanket.
- Guide it back over the croup.
- Repeat the process on the other side with a third band.
- Slowly and gently accustom the horse to the contact in the area of the stifle and hindquarters before beginning with the full application.
